Magento Tiles Configurator

Tile configurator for designing tables and other flat surfaces.

Arthur Zaaro is a great tile configurator for designing tables and other flat surfaces. It provides an ability to create your own tile design or choose from a predefined collection as well as to choose the necessary tile type, drag and drop tiles to a designing area, delete and rotate tiles to get the desired look as it is depicted on the image below.

Customers can choose a table frame color specified by admin and see the changes in the designing area. The configurator allows to save the created design and e-mail it to a friend.

Among other features: pop-up instruction how to create a design and the Help button at hand, an admin’s ability to set an extra charge for a customization and for frames. The created design is shown on the cart contents and the order details page.

Filters to search for designs from collections are also available.

Within this project some serious additions to the standard backend features were made:

A table that displays saved designs and author info. Store admin can easily touch up the customers’ designs and save the changes if necessary.

An ability to group small tiles into a “mega-tile” (of 4 pieces) and save it as a separate tile type. Users are able to put the whole “mega-tile” into the design and alter each piece of it.

Magento Multi-Vendor

Magento marketplace with Multi-Vendor functionality

Indiewearhouse is a to-be marketplace that was created with the help of our team. The standard Magento functionality was turned into the full-featured marketplace allowing vendors to place products, have their own admin panels and manage orders.
Working on this project our team performed many tasks, skin integration among them, but most of the work was applied to the backend.
The first and main feature to add was separate storefronts for vendors and ability for the main admin to act of behalf of the necessary vendor.

For convenience scroll pagination was added in the vendor’s dashboard for product and order lists.
The further customizations included extension of the standard Magento feature - tags. The modification provided the ability for vendors to add tags to products (which later must be approved by the main admin) as well as to vendors!

Product and vendor tags are also availbale to search by in the frontend.

Another significant addition was Refund/Dispute functionality. Even if the service is perfect conflicts inevitably arise. And to facilitate problems resolving this new feature was added. Customers now can initiate a dispute to adress their problems and vendors are able to track all the requests and take measures.

The main Dispute table in the backend displays the list of all disputes including Order ID, Customer’s name, Vendor’s name, Date and Status.
Each row represents a dispute which can be opened for more details (among them message history). Every time the topic updated both customer and vendor receive e-mail notifications.
Also within this project we have fulfilled the integration of the two great third-party services - Zendesk and Shipstation.

Fweety Store

We'd like to present you the design project on Magento.

Fweety is one of our big Magento projects. It is supposed to be an online marketplace in the end. In its original conception every customer will have an ability to create its own shop on Fweety and start selling products. The project is still under development and a great number of interesting features are still coming. The project was started by the inventing of the original concept for Vendor’s basic storefront which later can be customized by vendors who got “PRO” status.

Also within this project Vendor’s admin panel got its new look that can be seen below.

Speaking about modifications of the standard features of the platform, we’ve already realized some of them.
Vendor and Customer accounts are merged now according to the main goal which is to let every user start his store easily. Each registered customer is a Vendor and there’s no distinctions between them untill one gets a “PRO” status.
Together with the described above was started the development of the customization tools for Vendor PRO store template.

Cintamani

Cintamani is an impressive clothes shop for adults and kids.

Cintamani.is is one of our long established clients for which many tasks were accomplished.
We've started with the complete website upgrade from the outdated version to the newest one.
The current remarkable design was also kept and upgraded. This work required full design reintegration.

Another task was to set up a new start page which redirects customers to the store version accordingly to the chosen currency.

Also our team has developed several custom modules for this project among which is Facebook block displaying random happy customers who liked Cintamani.

Another module Alt-team created was Video manager add-on that allows to add videos with ease.


And at last additional work was done to optimize the existing integration with Navision ERP to import and clone products inventory to the store.

ZO-ON ICELAND

Zo-on.is is another great clothes shop offering outdoor and winter clothing for the family.

Zo-on is another project which we've been proudly working on for a long time. The work our team has done included skinning of the ready-made design mock ups as well as a major custom modification - Image Gallery that allows CS-Cart admin to create image galleries and display them in the storefront. Here is how it looks like:

Working on the store we also completed Borgun payment integration and an inclusion of a special banner type which involves embedding of a Youtube code and displaying videos in blocks.

The modification for homepage product blocks involved ability to choose the color right on the homepage and then continue the shopping on the product page without having to select the color again.

BuyBlindsDirect

BuyBlindsDirect is a web store of Swift Blinds. It is a family run business and they care of the company's success. So they choose Alt-team to work on their online shop.

While working on this website our designers created unique design concepts and mock-ups taking into account the business niche - the blinds and accessories.
Ready mock-ups later were put together and integrated in CS-Cart.

Dealing with a business that already existed our team had to accomplish a migration from the current platform to a different one.

Another part of the project is the “Product Price Calculator” custom modification. As it is impossible to sell blinds by piece, we faced an issue to develop a price calculator that will be convenient for customers and accurate in the accounts. We succeeded in it and now you may estimate our work.

The next step was the Fast Track delivery date calculator that determines the day when the parcel reaches the customer depending on the day of the week considering week-ends and holidays.

The “Free Sample” modification allows to add a free sample directly from the product page to cart (but no more than 5 free samples per order).

Another addition is the Turn/Joint modification which informs customers that the fabric will be turned or will have a joint if the parameters entered in the Price Calculator meets some values set in the admin.

T-Shirt Deal

T-Shirt Deal which is led by our long-time customer is an online clothes store that offers a great number of customizable items.

The store successfully uses two functional add-ons by Alt-team:
"Multishop" add-on that allows to administrate several online stores via one admin panel (which was developed before paltform providers released the Ultimate version) and the "Product designer" add-on which gives customers an opportunity to personalize and order a clothes item with every possible text or image.

Also our team has provided individual design concepts and design integration service for this project.

Among many other tasks we built some creative things, for example a Deal module that gives a possibility to set a time limited promotion with a countdown timer.

Seeking to entertain users TShirt Deal team got the Design and Win module helping to start a contest of the best design. The administrator can set the contest name, its start date, the duration and assign product to the contest. The best design is determined by the number of received “Likes”.

HTCPEDIAShop

HTCPedia is a great store for those who stand for HTC devices. It offers an impressive range of accessories of any kind.

Alt-team is deeply involved in HTCPedia development. It is our long-term project, we have been supporting it and constantly working at new features for about 5 years already. The work was started by the skinning of the design sketches provided by the website owners.

Along with design integration our team performed Search Engine Optimization and a number of improvements to make store management easier.

We have developed several systems for this site: device selector that uses global filter and an accessories compatibility system,

system of planning purchases based on sales forecast, advanced system of product keeping and orders management which was later replaced by an integration with a third-party solution.
That was Brightpearl CRM that helps getting all the orders, customer data, inventory, accounting and reporting together in the same place.

We’ve set “Capture function” for all payment modules and contributed in configuration of Fedex, USPS, UPS shipping methods (the modification allows to generate shipping labels for an order or change shipping method and get the label for it).

Besides, this site operates with the help of Alt-team's "Multishop" add-on which connects together three online stores - Shop.HTCPedia, Smartphonepedia and MSGDigital. The add-on had been created before the cart providers released the Ultimate solution for several storefronts.

Also the store uses some of our ready-made add-ons - Spy Agent that shows items other customers bought and Estimate Shipping Сost.

Domotekhnika

Domotekhnika is a low-cost store chain in the Russian Far East. It doesn't need shop assistants or showcases thus it can afford offering really low prices.

Our team performed this project from scratch. We suggested to Domotekhnika's management and then realized a number of measures to improve positions and conversion in search engines.

We dedicated special attention to website optimization therefore Domotekhnika can show really impressive results while heavily loaded.

Within this project a great number of improvements for the out-of-the-box solution was made. Such as the new city choice feature. This is a complex modification that can be useful if you have one online store and several brick and mortar stores with different product availability in different cities. The whole store was divided into separate subdomains for every city.

Among other tasks we realized an import of product reviews from Yandex and Automatic SEO meta data filling and also integrated ERP Navision (starting from quantity and price import from Navision to exporting orders and users to Navision).
